At Pasture Provisions, we’ve always believed good food should go further than just a plate. That also means reducing waste wherever possible and ensuring good food doesn’t get thrown away.
But it also means showing up for our community when possible.
That’s why we support Denver Community Fridges! These refrigerators are part of a local, volunteer-run network of community fridges and pantries across the city. These fridges are open 24/7, stocked by businesses and people alike, and available to anyone who needs food, no questions asked.
It’s a simple idea: Take what you need. Leave what you can.
Through this system, fresh produce, prepared meals, and groceries are shared directly within the community. This helps reduce food waste while making sure more people have access to real food.
What This Means For Us
When we have any goods that we can't sell, whether it’s vegetables, eggs, or other products that won’t make it into orders, it's important to us that we don’t let it go to waste.
We donate what we can to help stock these fridges. Because food should be eaten, not thrown away. Taking care of our community is just as important as running the business.
