Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We’re committed to delivering your frozen meat products safely and on time. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand how we handle packaging, delivery, and related concerns.

Shipping Area

We currently ship frozen meat products within the United States only. We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally at this time.

Order Processing

  • Orders will be shipped on Monday and Tuesday (excluding National Holidays) to ensure your package arrives before the weekend.   Shipping during the last 2 weeks of December through New Years Day are subject to change and notifications will be sent in advance of modified shipping schedules.

  • Orders placed after 4 PM (MT) on Monday will be shipped the following Monday to avoid weekend transit delays.

  • All subscription orders will be charged either 14 days or 28 days after your original order date and ship the next available Monday or Tuesday

Packaging and Handling 

To maintain the quality and safety of our products:

  • All frozen meats are shipped in insulated packaging with dry ice and gel packs.

  • Packaging is designed to keep your order frozen for up to 48–72 hours.   Partial thawing may occur and those products can be refrozen.    

  • Handle dry ice with care. Do not touch it with bare hands, and allow it to dissipate in a well-ventilated area.

  • Boxes are recyclable and insulation is either compostable or recyclable per the instructions printed on the insulated liners.    Gel packs are reusable or recyclable per the instructions on the gel pack.

Shipping Method and Rates

We use ground (1-3 day) and 2 day air express shipping to ensure your products arrive frozen.

  • Shipping is available via UPS.

  • Shipping costs and options will be displayed at checkout.

Delivery and Receiving

  • You will receive a UPS tracking number once your order ships.

  • Someone should be available to receive and promptly refrigerate or freeze your order upon delivery.

  • We are not responsible for spoilage due to delays caused by incorrect addresses or unattended deliveries.

Damaged and Thawed Product

If your package arrives damaged or significantly thawed (above 38 degree Fahrenheit):

  • Please take photos immediately of the box, packaging, and product condition.

  • Contact us at hello@pastureprovisionsco.com within 12 hours of delivery.

  • We’ll evaluate your claim and may offer a replacement or store credit on a case-by-case basis.
