What You’ll Need

Base

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ¼–½ cup buttermilk (adjust for thickness)

Seasoning & Herbs

  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)

  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp dried dill (or 1 tbsp fresh dill)

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Brighteners

  • 1–2 tsp fresh lemon juice (or white vinegar)

Let’s Cook

1. Mix the Base

In a bowl, whisk together: mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Start with ¼ cup buttermilk and add more as needed for desired consistency.

2. Add Flavor

Stir in: garlic, chives, parsley, dill, onion powder, and salt & pepper.

3. Brighten It Up

Add lemon juice (or vinegar) and mix well. Taste and adjust: more salt for depth, more lemon for tang, or more buttermilk for a thinner dressing.

4. Chill

Cover and refrigerate for at least 20–30 minutes to let flavors develop.

5. Serve

Use as: Salad dressing, dip for wings or veggies, or spread it on sandwiches or wraps. Enjoy!
