What You’ll Need

  • ¼ cup coarse ground coffee (not espresso powder)

  • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp onion powder

  • 2 tbsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp ground cumin

  • 1 tbsp kosher salt

  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to your heat preference)

 

Let’s Cook

  1. Mix the Rub
    Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Stir thoroughly until uniform.

  2. Store & Use
    Transfer to an airtight container. Rub on meat from ~12 inches above surface to ensure even coverage. Use at least 1 hour before cooking.
