At Pasture Provisions, both your health and the animals’ welfare matter deeply. Here is all the vaccine information below on each of the animals we carry at this time.
Q: What vaccines are given to your grass-fed cattle?
A: All beef we have is grass-fed as well as grass-finished. The grass-fed cattle farms we partner with use only the vaccines necessary to protect against common and serious cattle diseases, including those caused by Clostridium chauvoei, C. septicum, C. novyi Type B, C. haemolyticum, C. tetani, and C. perfringens Types C and D. Importantly, our partners do not use any mRNA vaccines on their cattle.
Q: What vaccines are given to your pasture-raised pork?
A: Our pasture-raised pork comes from farms that raise pigs on pasture with a strong emphasis on animal health and welfare. These farms use vaccines selectively and only when necessary to protect against serious and common swine diseases such as Erysipelas, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, and Porcine Circovirus. The use of antibiotics is limited and only applied when medically necessary under veterinary guidance. Like all our animal products, no mRNA vaccines are used in our pork supply.
Q: What vaccines are given to your regenerative organic pastured raised chicken?
A: The poultry farm we work with vaccinates their chickens against coccidiosis and salmonella enteritidis—standard and widely accepted practices in poultry health management. These vaccines address risks that typically originate in hatcheries or breeder flocks. They do not use mRNA vaccines, and they deliberately avoid additional vaccines, relying instead on strong management and biosecurity practices.
Q: What vaccines are given to your grass-fed lamb?
A: Our lamb comes from farms committed to raising animals on pasture with a focus on health, welfare, and regenerative practices. Vaccines are used selectively and only when necessary to protect against common and serious diseases such as Clostridium perfringens (types C & D) and tetanus, typically through the CD&T vaccine. The use of antibiotics is extremely limited and applied only when medically necessary. No mRNA vaccines are used.
Q: What vaccine are given to your pasture raised hens that lay eggs?
A: The egg supplier we partner with does not vaccinate chicks or pullets after receiving them. However, per USDA regulations requires that all laying hens are vaccinated as chicks against Salmonella, E. coli, and Bronchitis. No further vaccinations are administered after they reach laying age (18–22 weeks). No mRNA vaccines are used
Q: Where does your sustainably caught seafood come from and how is it tracked?
A: We proudly work with fisherman that only do responsible seafood sourcing. Their Traceability System electronically tracks seafood from the fishermen’s boats to your table, maintaining strict temperature and cleanliness standards throughout the supply chain. This ensures your fish is sustainably harvested, properly labeled, and of the highest quality. No antibiotics, preservatives, or mRNA vaccines are used.
