What You’ll Need

  • 1 ½ ripe avocados, pitted and peeled

  • ½ cup light sour cream

  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed

  • 2 Tbsp lime juice (about 1 lime)

  • ¼ tsp chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (add more for extra smoky heat)

  • ⅛ tsp kosher salt

Let’s Cook

  1. Load the Food Processor
Place avocados, sour cream, garlic, lime juice, chipotle in adobo, and salt into the bowl of a food processor fitted with the blade attachment.

  2. Blend Until Smooth
Process on high until a creamy, smooth purée forms. Scrape down the sides if needed.

  3. Chill & Serve
Transfer to a container and refrigerate until ready to use. Best enjoyed within 2–3 days.
