Pork with a spicy sweet glaze is always a hit, and this simple recipe can be prepared in less than 30 min

Ingredients

2 Thick Cut Pork Chops (bone-in or boneless)

2 TBSP Honey

2 TBSP Sweet Chili Sauce (I like The Ginger People -  Sweet Chili Sauce)

1 TBSP - Siracha (if you like more heat add more siracha or you can add a couple dashes of habenero or other hot sauce)

Salt and Pepper if desired

Directions

Grilling

Preheat grill on med-high to high

Mix all ingredients for the Sweet Chili Sauce

Coat chops with half the sauce (for a stronger flavor you can also marinade these in the sauce for a couple hours before cooking)

Cook on each side for ~ 4 min per side or until cooked medium to medium well.

Serve whole or let rest before slicing and serve with rice.

Drizzle remaining sauce over pork chops.

Directions

Pan Cooking

Preheat oven to 350

Mix all ingredients for the Sweet Chili Sauce

Coat chops with half the sauce (for a stronger flavor you can also marinade these in the sauce for a couple hours before cooking)

Cook for 2-3 min per side in heavy pan over med-high heat with 1TBSP coconut oil.   Look for a crust to form.

Place in oven for 5-8 min (cook until Medium to Medium well)

Serve whole or let rest before slicing and serve with rice.

Drizzle remaining sauce over pork chops.

Tip:  add coconut oil to rice instead of butter when cooking.

Pasture Provisions Pork Chops come from Colorado Pastured Pork who raises heritage-breed pigs in Hotchkiss, CO.   Heritage-breed pigs (Berkshire, Mangalica, etc) typically have a darker meat, more marbling and a sweeter flavor than conventionally raised-pigs.
